Project Components
IPA Activities
- Total 48 Entities (18 DHs, 18 Jt. DHS Offices, 7 MC&Hs (MCH Wing) and 5 State-level entities)
- As on date, INR 22.07 Cr. Grant released to 48 Entities for implementing the approved Action Plan.
- Completed with: Baseline survey, 1st & 2nd IPA Ex-ante and IPA Ex-post assessment.
- Roadmap for reforming pre-service nursing education: Developed & approved by the WB and PD.
- Nursing Data Management (NDM) Portal: Bharuwa Solutions Pvt. Ltd. engaged and the development of the application is in-progress.
- HRH Enumeration completed and updated in the HR-MIS portal of NHM.
- Functional review of Health directorates is in process.
- ASSIST Integrated MIS: Developed & deployed on 19th Sept’25
- Officially launch and 1-Day training conducted for all stakeholders on 10th Oct’25.
Repair & Renovation of 15 DHs and 7 MC&Hs (MCH Wing)
- Contract awarded for Package 1 (Goalpara)
- Tenders published for Packages 2 (Chirang & Baksa) and 3 (Diphu & Haflong)
- Of the remaining 17 DPRs, 2 have TS accorded; others under process
- DPRs submitted to PWD for Technical Sanction
- 12 DPRs accorded TS, others under process
- Upgradation of Regional College of Nursing, Guwahati to a CoE and pre-service education hub
- DPR submitted to PWD for TS.
Construction of 8 new District Hospitals and the AMCH City Hospital
- Including medical equipment and operating costs for 1.5 years.
- All contracts have been awarded; Civil work is on-going at 7 locations (i.e. Dudhnoi, Sarukhetri, Kaliabor, Kaliapani, Narayanpur, Azara and Lakhipur) and Preliminary works initiated at Abhayapuri and AMCH City Hospital in Dibrugarh.
